What Chase says about deposit timing

Chase offers early direct deposit on eligible Chase Secure Banking deposits, not every Chase account. Timing is based on when the payer submits payment information.

If your Chase deposit has not arrived

  1. Confirm your Chase account type includes early direct deposit.
  2. Check the Chase app and account alerts for the posted transaction.
  3. Ask the payer whether the ACH file was submitted on time.

If the scheduled payday—not merely your usual early day—has passed, ask the payer for the effective date and ACH trace number. Then contact Chase through its official app, website or the number on your card.

How today's signal is calculated

Visitors select Chase, their U.S. time zone and either “received” or “still waiting.” One current answer per device is counted for the day. Percentages remain hidden until at least five U.S. reports exist. Reports are a community signal, not proof about any individual transaction.

Chase direct deposit questions

What time does Chase direct deposit hit?

Chase does not guarantee one clock time for every deposit. The payer's submission time, settlement date, account eligibility and processing conditions determine availability.

Why is my Chase direct deposit late today?

First compare against the scheduled payday, not the usual early-pay day. A payer submission change, new account setup, incorrect details, weekend, banking holiday, review or service issue can all change timing.

Are the Chase live reports official?

No. “Received” and “waiting” totals are anonymous community reports. Any official status label links directly to a provider-operated status page.
