What SoFi says about deposit timing
SoFi advertises early paycheck access for eligible direct deposits. The exact day depends on when SoFi receives payment information from the payer.
If your SoFi deposit has not arrived
- Review SoFi's official service status.
- Confirm your employer transmitted payroll on its normal schedule.
- Allow for a first-deposit setup period if you recently changed accounts.
If the scheduled payday—not merely your usual early day—has passed, ask the payer for the effective date and ACH trace number. Then contact SoFi through its official app, website or the number on your card.
How today's signal is calculated
Visitors select SoFi, their U.S. time zone and either “received” or “still waiting.” One current answer per device is counted for the day. Percentages remain hidden until at least five U.S. reports exist. Reports are a community signal, not proof about any individual transaction.
SoFi direct deposit questions
What time does SoFi direct deposit hit?
SoFi does not guarantee one clock time for every deposit. The payer's submission time, settlement date, account eligibility and processing conditions determine availability.
Why is my SoFi direct deposit late today?
First compare against the scheduled payday, not the usual early-pay day. A payer submission change, new account setup, incorrect details, weekend, banking holiday, review or service issue can all change timing.
Are the SoFi live reports official?
No. “Received” and “waiting” totals are anonymous community reports. Any official status label links directly to a provider-operated status page.
